When I was ten years old my grandfather gave me a craftsman drill and a toolbox and began showing me how to use both.

Today, I still have and use the “classic” drill (pictured with pride and fond memories) but I now know the real lesson taught to me wasn’t how to use the drill, but how to properly take care of the home, the property, and the investment.

I graduated undergrad in 1981 and immediately started working in NYC in the apparel industry. I commuted daily into NYC (unless travel) for over 25 years and spent a lifetime living in different areas of NJ. Simultaneously, I owned two NJ income-producing properties for twenty years and I completed a Mini MBA (Business Essentials).

I started RKS in 2004 and through this moment in my career, I consider two things when asked to describe how I think and how I work; work ethic and service excellence. I truly believe that these two aspects of my approach to anything are the key ingredients to my success.

Personally, I have been equally blessed as I have an amazing wife and partner in RKS, two incredible children, and live in beautiful Beach Haven West.
